Our Occupational Therapy Assistant faculty and staff are caring, friendly, and highly qualified in the industry. With over decades of experience in their fields, our OTA faculty members are connected with a wide variety of employers in the Allied Health and OT industry.
Our unyielding commitment to our students’ preparation for the NBCOT COTA exam includes cumulative review and exit exams in terms 1, 2, and 3. In term 4, students receive a comprehensive end-of-program review and NBCOT COTA Exam Preparation course. Stanbridge College continuously provides top-of-the-line examination preparation materials and courses to assist students in successfully completing their exam. These services are provided at no additional charge to our students.
The Stanbridge Occupational Therapy Assistant Skills Lab is a student resource designed to offer exposure to the kinds of equipment, tools, and environment in which our graduates will be working. The OTA Skills Lab gives students access to a multitude of exercise equipment, adaptive equipment, mobility devices, therapeutic activities, positioning devices, physical agent modalities, and home-simulation areas, where occupational therapy skills can be developed.
Stanbridge College also has a professional clinical Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Skills Lab, a Nursing Skills Lab with 10 hospital beds and a Nursing Simulation Lab with 6 hospital beds with up-to-date simulation mannequins and equipment. With the PTA, Nursing Skills and Simulation Labs our students are prepared for a seamless transition into the Allied Health profession.
Every student in our Occupational Therapy Assistant program receives 3D Human Anatomy software theirs to keep. This is a complete guide to human anatomy and physiology with over 2000 detailed illustrations and graphics and 3D modeling of select bones, organs and muscles. This is an invaluable learning tool and is a unique benefit to choosing Stanbridge College.
